Initially, entries will be judged in the following age categories:

• 18-25
• 26-49
• 50+

and you will be required to give your date of birth/age as at 1st October 2007.

The three best entries in each age category will go forward to the grand final.

Entries will be assessed against pre-set criteria, and those entries which are to progress to stage 2 of the judging process will receive requests for follow up information in the week commencing 15th October 2007.

Upon receipt of this follow up information the judges will determine a short list of 9 entrants, 3 from each age category who will be notified in the week commencing 19th November 2007.

Short listed entrants will participate in the Grand Final, and will be invited to give a half hour presentation on their entry to the panel in the week commencing 3rd December 2007. Presentations will take place at Faversham House.

The Merseyside Entrepreneur of the Year will be presented with the Award at a ceremony to be held at a unique Liverpool venue on Thursday, 13th December 2007. The decision of the judges is final and binding. Terms and Conditions apply.
