The Mersey Partnership

The Mersey Partnership

The Merseyside Enterprise Programme is a circa £18m operational programme developed off the back of the The Merseyside Entrepreneurship Commission Report findings.

Projects have been developed using a £5m European Social Fund and limited European Regional Development Funding from Government Office North West.

The overall objectives of the programme are to centrally co-ordinate a diverse range of pan-Merseyside pilots, and simultaneously accelerate the development of a long-term sub regional enterprise strategy.

Activity to date has focused on the development of a range of education, culture change projects embracing private sector mentors and business networks, accelerating productivity and a diverse selection of niche pilots focusing on Women, the BME community and informal working.
