Make Your Mark in Liverpool is a campaign led by Enterprise Insight to encourage and support enterprise activity and to create a more enterprising culture amongst people in their teens and twenties.
The campaign was founded by the four main UK business membership organisations, the British Chambers of Commerce, CBI, Federation of Small Businesses and Institute of Directors. We are funded by the DTI and endorsed by the Chancellor, Gordon Brown.
Our central message is that enterprise is about having ideas and making them happen. Liverpool has been selected as one of only four local hubs and a small team has been recruited with the aim of maximising on the entrepreneurial spirit of the young people here.
We aim to recognise and celebrate enterprising activity, showcase and promote young entrepreneurs, catalyse support networks, spread good practice, inspire and engage young people to be ambassadors for the campaign and spotlight Liverpool City Region as the place to learn and work and be enterprising.
